Art Therapy is a human service profession that utilizes art media, images and the creative art process. The patient/client responses to the client's creations are reflections of an individual's development, abilities, personality, interests, concerns and conflicts.

Art therapy practice is based on knowledge of human developmental and psychological theories which are implemented in the full spectrum of models of assessment and treatment which engages a person's creative efforts in a collaborative approach to healing.

therapy Art therapy aids clients in reconciliation of emotional conflicts, fostering self-awareness, developing social skill, managing behavior, solving problems, coping better with anxiety, aiding reality orientation and enhancing self-esteem.

Education: Master's degree in Art Therapy from Wright State University.

Experience:
*Worked with the elderly in homes for the aged.
*Held group art therapy sessions.
*Held individual sessions with adults and children.

Currently:
Using art therapy as a modality, I help adults to enhance quality of life. I hold small group sessions where art is the vehicle to foster mental equity, self-confidence, improve concentration, and enhance a sense of well-being.
